Dogs for Rehoming

Breed: Lurcher/Dogue De Bordeaux

Sex: Female

Age: 1 Year 3 Months Approx

Lettie is a pretty dog who came to us for rehoming due to her previous owner having a big change in their circumstances, meaning that a house move was imminent and Lettie wasn’t allowed to go.

Lettie is a big girl.. her mum was a Dogue De Bordeaux, whilst her dad was a Lurcher… making her a fast, powerful dog with energy to burn! Understandably, Lettie is a strong dog and can be a handful at times! She has some basic training, but would definitely benefit from further training and socialisation.

Big dog experience would be beneficial. She could go to a home with dog-savvy children over 10yrs due to her size (and she can be quite boisterous). She’s not friendly towards cats or other small furries, and is said to be territorial around dogs in the home… she will need to be the only pet.

Lettie is an active girl, who loves getting out and about on her walks – she particularly enjoys her off lead time with toys! She will need an active home who can provide her with plenty of exercise as well as some mental stimulation. Ideally she would have a nice garden to play in, combined with the use of secure exercise paddocks, so she can really stretch those long legs!
