Dogs for Rehoming

Puppy: Hazel

Breed: Lurcher

Sex: Female

Age: 16 Weeks Approx

Hazel is a lovely young pup who came to us for rehoming as she was too boisterous in a home with 6 young children –  she’s a typical puppy; nips/mouths and gets over excited. She could live in a home with older children, who can get involved with her care.

Hazel has been used to other dogs, and has shared her previous home with cats (although she does want to play).

As Hazel is a such a youngster, she will require a home where she wont be left for long periods… she will need lots of time for her training and socialisation to ensure she grows up to be a well behaved lady. She’s a blank canvas, and will be an excellent addition to the home. She has had very little training so far and her new owners need to be willing to put some time into her (including toilet training).

She’s a really sweet little lady, she’s fairly confident.. and loves to play! However she equally enjoys a cuddle and plenty of attention! At this age, she will require short walks, combined with playtime and brain games to prevent her from becoming bored. As she grows, she will need more exercise and the chance to stretch her lurcher legs!
