Dogs for Rehoming

Breed: Siberian Husky/American Bulldog

Sex: Female

Age: 1 Year 6 Months Approx

Willow is a young Husky x American Bulldog who came to us through no fault of her own… she came to us with her Sister, Cali. Sadly their owner realised that they had bitten off more than they could chew by taking on the Sisters as puppies, as well as already having 2 existing dogs and 3 cats in the home. Sadly Willow wasn’t receiving the time and attention that she needed and was spending a lot of the time in the kitchen, as she was a too boisterous with the other animals.

Willow is a friendly, sociable girl who seems to love everybody… she’s slightly smaller than her sister, and she appeared to be getting a little bullied by her sister, so we made the decision to separate them, and its made them both a lot happier – they’re now getting the one on one attention they deserve.

Whilst Willow has had some basic training (Sit etc), her lack of exercise shows – she’s strong to walk on the lead, and needs further training. She does seem quite keen to please and loves it when praised for getting it right!…so training should be straight forward. She will need somebody with a lot of time to dedicate to her. Her time alone will need to be built up, as she’s always had company. She’s affectionate and loves tummy rubs!

We feel that Willow would need a home without cats, and no small dogs. She may be able to share her home with a medium-large breed neutered male (depending on a dog meeting).
