Dogs for Rehoming
Willow
Breed: Lurcher Crossbreed
Sex: Female
Age: 6 Months Approx
Willow is a lovely puppy who came to us for rehoming due to her chasing the other pets in the home… this home had only had her a couple of days, and had previously got her from somebody who couldn’t cope with her.
She’s an unusual girl.. she’s supposed to be a mix of Lurcher and Cocker Spaniel and German Shepherd… but we think that there’s probably lots of breeds in the mix! She currently weighs 18kg, and obviously hasn’t finished growing yet!
She’s a high energy pup! She absolutely loves to run and play! She’s need been used to having much exercise prior to coming to us… so she’s loving the free time in the exercise compounds with her toys! She will need a secure garden to play in, as well as plenty of exercise and stimulation to stop her from becoming bored!
Willow could live in a home with teenagers… she’s an excitable puppy, who can be mouthy and full on! She’s not great at being left alone at the moment, she would need a home where she wont be left for long periods. Time alone would need to be built up over time with positive reinforcement.
Willow has had a bit of training (she’s not 100% house trained), so we would recommend some form of training classes to help, as well as building her confidence, and building a relationship with her new family.
She’s good with other dogs, but any dogs in the home would need to be neutered. She’s not suitable to live with cats or other free range small animals/poultry.
